This privacy policy explains our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use our services, and informs you about your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
Before using the services, please read this policy carefully to understand in detail the purposes for which we collect and process personal information, as well as how we use, store, share, and transmit your personal information.
You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information. However, if you refuse to provide it, we may be unable to provide you with certain services.
1. Interpretation and Definitions
1.1 Interpretation: Words with initial capital letters have the meanings defined below. The definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
1.2 Definitions: For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Account: means a unique account created for you to access our services or parts of our services.
- Affiliate: means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity, securities, or other voting rights.
- Personal Information: means information that is generated, collected, recorded, and/or stored electronically or otherwise, which alone or in combination with other information can identify an individual.
- Application: refers to the “USight”, the software program provided by us.
- Device: means a computing device manufactured by hardware manufacturers, including smart cameras, base stations, and parent monitors.
- Service: refers to the Application.
- Service Provider: means any natural or legal person who processes data on our behalf.
- You: means the individual accessing or using the service, or the company or other legal entity on whose behalf such individual is accessing or using the service.
2. System Permissions We Apply for and Their Purposes
To ensure the proper functioning of the app, we require the following system permissions:
- Location permission: Used for searching nearby WI-FI information.
- Bluetooth permission: Used for searching nearby devices, specifically for adding devices.
- Recording permission: Used to enable system microphone recording for real-time intercom with USight devices.
- Storage permission: Used to access the phone's storage, save and view videos and photos recorded by USight devices.
- Album permissions: Used to access the phone's photo album, save and view videos and photos, and set avatars.
- Camera permission: used for scanning and network configuration.
- Notification permission: Used to send notifications to users and push device detection events.
3. Collection and Use of Your Personal Information
3.1 Types of Information Collected
We collect necessary information only for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes. We may collect the following types of information:
1) Information You Actively Provide
- Account Registration Information: Information such as your account username, email, and contact details.
- Other Information: Other information you actively provide when communicating with us.
2) Device and Technical Information
- Basic Device Information: Device name, device ID, online status, activation time, firmware version, etc.
- Location Information: Geographic location information collected when you enable location services.
- Network Information: IP address, MAC address, SSID, BSSID, carrier information, and connection method.
- Recording Information: Audio recording captured after you grant microphone permission for voice summoning features.
- Installed Application List: Used by third-party push services to locate this app and deliver messages.
3) Information Collected When Using the Application
With your prior permission, we may collect images and other information from the camera and gallery. You can manage these permissions in your device settings at any time.
Camera Privacy and Security:
- Local Storage: Captured images from movement detection are automatically encrypted and stored locally on the device.
- Cloud Storage: If activated, images/videos are uploaded to the cloud and stored based on your service plan. Deleting files in the App removes them from the cloud immediately.
- AI Recognition: AI analysis is performed locally. Data transmitted to Amazon S3 is retained for 3 days by default and then automatically deleted.
- Payment: We use third-party processors (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe). We do not store or control your credit card information.
3.2 Use of Personal Information
We may use personal information to provide and maintain the service, manage your account, perform contracts, contact you via email or push notifications, and for legal compliance.
4. Sharing of Personal Information
We will not disclose information to third parties without your consent, except:
- With Service Providers: To monitor and analyze service usage.
- For Business Transfers: During mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.
- With Affiliates: Requiring them to follow this privacy policy.
- With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your express permission.
5. Retention Period for Personal Information
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy and fulfill legal obligations.
6. Transfer of Personal Information
Your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. We use Standard Contractual Clauses and other lawful means to ensure data security.
7. Deletion of Personal Information
You have the right to delete your information. This can be done via “Me → Account Settings → Delete Account” or by contacting us directly.
8. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose information for Business Transactions, Law Enforcement Requests, or to protect the rights and safety of the company and users.
9. Your Rights (Including State-Specific Rights)
Depending on your region, you may have the Right to Know, Right to Data Portability, Right to Deletion, and Right to Correction.
10. Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw consent by:
- Changing device system permissions (location, camera, etc.).
- Unbinding the Device through the App.
- Unbinding third-party service associations on their respective platforms.
11. Security Measures
We avoid storing data on our own cloud servers; data is primarily stored locally on the phone or SD card. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
12. California Privacy Rights
California residents have specific rights explained in our California Resident Privacy Notice.
13. Children's Privacy
This service is not directed at minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental or guardian consent.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via a prominent notice within the service.
User Agreement
Effective Date: March 16, 2026
Introduction
This User Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between you (the “User” or “you”) and Shenzhen Ruixunyun Technology Co., Ltd., its parent company, affiliates, and subsidiaries (collectively “Ruixunyun”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Before using the “USight” software, you shall read this Agreement in full and confirm that you fully understand its terms. You enter into a contract with us when you accept this Agreement or otherwise use the software.
Please read and understand the terms carefully and choose to accept or reject this Agreement. Terms that exclude or limit our liability, applicable law, and dispute resolution are marked in bold and require your special attention. Your download, installation, or use of the software shall constitute your acceptance of this Agreement and your agreement to be bound by its terms.
The Service is not intended for use by minors. Minors shall read this Agreement under the guidance of their guardians and obtain the guardians’ consent before using the Service. If you lack the civil capacity appropriate to your conduct, you and your guardian shall bear all consequences arising therefrom in accordance with applicable laws.
1. General Terms
1.1 This Agreement is made regarding your download, installation, and use of the “USight” software (the “Software”) and related services.
1.2 You shall download the Software only through official or authorized channels. We shall not be liable for any loss caused by unofficial sources.
1.3 Amendments: We reserve the right to amend this Agreement (e.g., due to software updates, law changes). Changes will be announced on the relevant page. If you continue to use our software after changes take effect, you shall be deemed to have agreed to the changes.
2. Service Content
2.1 USight provides services including: device pairing, connection/control, cloud storage, and message push. Functions may be optimized, modified, or suspended for maintenance.
2.2 We reserve the right to adjust prices of paid features (e.g., cloud storage) at any time without prior notice.
3. Scope of Service Use
3.1 You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive right to use the licensed software.
3.2 Use requires a USight account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password. All activities under your account shall be deemed your conduct.
3.3 The Service is for personal, non-commercial use only. Commercial use without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
4. Third-Party Provisions
4.1 Certain services are based on third-party software. You may need to comply with their respective user agreements and privacy policies. For details, see our “List of Third-Party Information Sharing”.
5. Usage Rules
5.1 Prohibitions: You are prohibited from:
- Reverse engineering or attempting to discover the source code;
- Removing copyrighted information or circumventing technical measures;
- Distributing worms, viruses, or other destructive code;
- Using the Service to violate any laws or third-party rights (intellectual property/privacy).
5.2 Violation: If you violate these terms, we may suspend/terminate service without notice and reserve the right to pursue legal action. You agree to indemnify and hold Ruixunyun harmless from any third-party claims arising from your violation.
6. Personal Information Protection
Protecting your information is important. Our Privacy Policy (incorporated into this Agreement) explains how we handle your data. Please read it carefully.
7. Intellectual Property Statement
7.1 USight is the owner of the IP rights of the Software (including text, audio, video, interface design, etc.). These are protected by applicable laws.
7.2 Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution of the IP is strictly prohibited. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
8.1 We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
8.2 Force Majeure: We are exempt from liability for service disruptions caused by hacker attacks, virus intrusion, power outages, or natural disasters (Force Majeure).
8.3 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID TO US BY YOU DURING THE PREVIOUS THREE (3) MONTHS.
9. Termination of Services
9.1 We may discontinue or terminate the Service at our discretion or due to mergers/asset transfers.
9.2 If you violate laws or this Agreement, we have the right to terminate services to you without notice.
10. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
10.2 Dispute Resolution: Any dispute shall be exclusively resolved by the courts of competent jurisdiction located within the State of California, United States. Both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
11. Other Matters
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining components.

We collect personal information mainly for the following purposes: Service Provision, Personalized Experience, Customer Support, Security and Compliance, Data Analysis and Research, and Marketing (with your prior consent).
